Touring the Northwest on the "Hiawatha-Norpac-Coeur d'Alene-Millenium Trails" with Norman D. Ford

On our Frequently Asked Questions page, the first question is
How long does it take to ride the Trail?

Part of our answer was
Other multiday tours can also be planned that cross the Idaho Panhandle from Taft, Montana, to Spokane, Washington. This four day 160 mile route is almost all downhill or flat and combines the Hiawatha, NorPac, Coeur d'Alene and Centennial Trails.

Unfortunately, we just found out that the link underlined above (www.tourvelo.org/norwest.html#Norwest) has disappeared, along with the rest of the website! However, the author of the tour, Norman D. Ford, first publicized his September 2005 bicycle route at Trento Bike Pages. Following this link will allow you to see summaries of his twelve other bicycle tours throughout the USA and Europe, as well. Since the source code on the long page does not include NAME anchors, however, I have printed and reproduced the original information relevant here. Please note that Ford's Millenium Trail is everyone else's Centennial Trail.

If anyone knows Norman, please have him get in touch with us. We would be interested in re-publishing his day-by-day report... with some editorial changes, of course. We don't want visitors to wonder how one of our trails lost 900 years of significance.
